Biking has been a big part of our relationship since we met on bikes in Minnesota in 1988! Together we have cycled in France (more times than we can count), Italy, Ireland, Canada, and Cambodia. Dan cycled the southern route across the US with a friend in 2004. In between all of these trips, we cycle in the beautiful Champlain Valley from our home in Vermont. But this trip to SE Asia is a big one for us. We have rented out our house and we are setting out for 5 months on the road. We fly to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) November 1, 2010 and return from Bangkok on April 1, 2011. In between we hope to cycle up to Hanoi and north west Vietnam, into Yunnan Province China, down through Laos, Cambodia and then Thailand. Those are our rough plans and things can change, so stay tuned and let’s see where we go!

loved the pictures–scenery and food looked great. Of course Dave loved the opera house. You are having the experienice of a lifetime and are so adventuresome. Models for all of us.
